Solido – S1802905 – Shelby GT500 – Gray & Black Stripes – 1967
This true legend of the American automobile industry was born in 1967, on the occasion of the restyling of the Ford Mustang “fastback”. The version prepared by Carroll Shelby is notable for its more aggressive and sporty look. Air intakes on the hood, on the sides, and in place of the quarter panels. The modification is even more spectacular at the rear with the integration of specific lights (borrowed from the Mercury Cougar) and a spoiler makes its appearance. But it is under the hood that the difference is also marked, with a V8 increased to 450 horsepower allowing it to reach 0 to 100 in just over 6 seconds, and 220 km/h in top speed. Remarkable figures for the time.
