At the end of World War II in 1945, the British developed the Centurion as its main battle tank. Six tanks were delivered to the European battlefield, however, they did not catch up with any fighting before the war ended. The Centurion continued to be produced into the 1960s and served in the British Army unitl the 1980s. Because of its excellent design, it was popular with other countries and became the tank that served the most western countries after World War II, and it was also the oldest tank in service.

The original idea for Piececool’s unique style of model kit was developed in 2006 by Mr. Ye Zufeng, a toy engineer with over 20 years’ experience. The first 3D metal models took 4 years to develop, appearing in 2009. In 2010 a patent was awarded, and the design and development team created the metal model souvenirs for Guangzhou Asian Games and the China pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. In 2012, the team developed many more of our distinctive models, which have been sold in more than 20 countries including US, Canada, Japan and much of Europe. In 2014, the Piececool brand was officially born and launched 57 types of new products, including military vehicles, animals, Chinese cultural icons, architecture, musical instruments and more.
Piececool’s models were an immediate hit with industry peers and modellers everywhere. To meet the diverse interests of our fans, Piececool is committed to keep innovating and leading the industry all the time; in 2015, a metal-boxed packaged series of model toys came on the market and in 2016, with the introduction of our unique metal colouring technique, the company started production of our colourful screen-printed model kits. In 2019, we released more than 140 types of metal model kits, and we expect to have a double-digit growth rate in every year. The core brand value of Piececool is “Create happiness, be moved by creation of players”, and our company will continue to develop our range of metal model toys through the love and ingenuity of our craftsmen!
